The Axpo Group has implemented an expansive business plan in order to become an energy producer in Italy through the direct construction of power plants, in addition to the acquisition of energy produced by third-party plants. The Italian generation facilities are combined cycle plants classified as individual operating companies, with a capacity of 760 MW.
Axpo boasts an Italian fleet of combined cycle power plants with an installed capacity of 1,800 MW (based on Axpo’s stake), which represents one of the largest investments in the construction of new power plants and a significant technological commitment to energy efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
